Alejandro Quinonez competed in the State Cross Country Championships this past Saturday, at Woodward Park in Fresno. He was the lone representative of TUHS, and he represented us proudly in the Division 4 race. He made it this far by placing 10th overall in the Central Section, thus qualifying him as one of only 4 individuals to advance from the entire Valley. With over 200 runners in his race, Alejandro placed 137th in a time of 17:33, just 8 seconds slower than his personal best time this season set last week on the same course. When you see Alejandro around campus, please congratulate him on a fantastic season, and career, at TUHS. He has been a solid and dependable performer for 4 years and he will likely continue his running career at the collegiate level next year. More importantly, you won't find a better PERSON than Alejandro. He is a leader and a tremendously hard worker, and represents the best that TUHS has to offer. See the attached photo (Alejandro is on the far right).
